Longmeadow Beach, Warwick: (State Fishing Access site) Several routes from Rt 95 are possible. One route is to exit Rt 95 at Rt 117 (exit10) or Rt 113 (exit 12), on both head east and connect at Rt 117. Stay on Rt 117 (West Shore Road), take right at Armstrong Ave. (just before cemetary) to end, take left on Samuel Gorton Ave. to end. This beach is exposed to easterly winds but has a nice gradual sloping slightly rocky launch area. There is a boat ramp in terrible condition. Exteme high tide may flood parts of the area. An open dirt parking area is available for approximately 25 cars, or for 12 cars with trailers. There are no sanitary facilities but low bushes provide some limited privacy.
