George B. Salter Grove, Warwick: (State owned public access) Directions from Rt 117 (north of Airport Rd.) turn east on Narragansett Parkway. Continue around corner heading north for several block until you see the park on the right opposite the end of Landon Road. This State Park overlooks Narragansett Bay and has several grassy knolls ideally suited for picnicking. There is a dirt ramp leading to a well-protected cove, best suited to launch small boats at high tide. The park has picnic tables and parking for about about 20 cars. There are no sanitary facilities but limited bushes provide some discrete privacy.
