Thimble Islands Connecticut: Launch from Stony Creek. Directions: From Providence, take Rt 95 south to Ct Exit 56. Turn left onto Leete's Island Rd, and follow straight to intersection with Rt 146. Go straight across, and under railroad bridge into Stony Creek. Boat ramp is next to park across the street from the post office. From New Haven, take Rt 95 to Exit 56, turn right onto Leete's Island Rd, and then as above. Parking is plentiful, but scattered all over the village.
