Sapowet Marsh and Seapowet Point Fishing Area, Tiverton: (CRMC designation not public, but this is a State Fishing Access) Directions from north on Rt 77, turn right on Lafayette Rd and left on Sapowet Ave. From soutn on Rt 77, turn left on West Rd to Seaposet Ave. The car access to the area is at the north end of the Sapowet Creek Bridge seen in the left photo above. There are adhoc parking areas all along a cobble beach leading north to the Fishing Access Area parking lot. The beach is mostly large cobble at low tide to the north and sandy gravel next to the bridge. There are no sanitary facilities on site but some brush (beyond the cornfield) provides limited privacy.
