Bristol Town Beach: (Town Beach) Directions, from Rt 114 north or south, take Asylum Road, adjacent to Colt State Park, to the west. This town facility features a sandy, gravelly beach fronting Upper Narragansett Bay. There is a nice grassy area behind the beach, plenty of picnic tables, a playground, and basketball, tennis, and softball facilities. Plenty of on-site parking is available. There is a block house restroom in the park. There is an admission fee during the summer. There may be limitations on launching when swimmers are using he beach. The adjacent Colt Park Public Access Ramps are more suitable for launching.
