Bristol Ferry Commons, Portsmouth: (CRMC Designation, Under Review) From Rt 114 North, after crossing the Mt Hope Bridge, make a hard left turn at the stop light onto Bristol Ferry Rd. From the Rt 114 South, go through the light and continue on Bristol Ferry Rd. Continue to the end, cross over the abandoned railroad track. A rough path on the left leads to the beach. There are no sanitary facilities but a few bushes provide limited discrete privacy. There is limited on-street parking. The old ferry terminal is private property.
