Tucker Pond, South Kingstown (Tuckertown): (State Fishing Access) Directions from Providence, take Rt 95 south to Rt 4 south to Rt 1south. Exit Rt 1 onto Rt 110 north. Follow for about 3 miles and turn Right onto Tuckertown Rd.(accross from Warden Pond Rd). Then take your 1st Right into the Tuckertown Fishing Area, which is just after Tuckertown Park (Don't turn into the park). This freshwater pond is ideal for kayak rescue training. There is parking for about 10 cars in the lot and more in the grassy field. There are no sanitary facilities at the site, but bushes are available to the east of the site next to the cornfield.
