Ninigret Pond, Charlestown: (Fishing Access) Directions from Rt 1 east or west: Follow all signs carefully to Charlestown Beach/Breachway. After exiting Rt 1, cross road at 1st stop sign, go to end of road, take left onto Matunuck Shoolhouse Rd. Take right (at corner with plaza) on to Charlestown Beach Rd. (Sometimes the signs get torn down). Continue down Charlestown Beach Rd, go over the little bridge and then (just after the bridge) turn right at the sign for Charlestown Beach parking lot (not Breachway). Don't go into the beach parking lot, but take the unmarked dirt road just to the right which leads to the Public Access parking lot at the launch. There is parking for about 15 cars. There are restrooms at the Charlestown parking lot, otherwise there are limited bushed at the launch site to provide discrete privacy.
